Chocolate orange cups

Chocolate and orange are a wonderful combination and I am always after easy, prepare-ahead delicious desserts.

There are so many recipes for chocolate pots on the net and in Thermomix forums. I suggest trying orange dark chocolate and a slug of grand marnier for an extra boost. The proportions will be equal measures of double cream, full cream milk and chocolate with an egg added for every 125g of chocolate. This will serve 6 small espresso cups. Dress them up with a sprig of rosemary.

If you infuse a sprig of rosemary in the steaming basket with heating the cream and milk it will have a subtle rosemary taste.

Welcome to my blog! After a L O N G break from blogging during which Instagram (vannilla)took over my life, I am returning in a more varied format. Yes, I will bake and have been a Thermomix users from the days before it was cult-like. I'll share the best but I will also include that other hobby in my life, photography from my small island and beyond. If you like what you see, I'd love to hear from you! Anne

  1. What a lovely idea to infuse rosemary in the internal basket while heating the milk and cream. This must really give a lovely taste to the hot chocolate. Thanks for sharing!

    • You are very welcome! I actually came across the idea on a Thermomix forum and then couldn’t find it again when I came to write mine up, so that I could give it credit- annoying.
