Take five

Of course you can choose any five or more ingredients for your favourite smoothie. Thermomix owners can throw that nutritious handful of their favourite nuts into the TM bowl and after a couple of seconds have a smooth ground mixture giving perfect balance to the fruit. This morning I took strawberries, avocado, a pear, and a frozen banana. Mix 500g of fruit mixture with about 200g of water (or coconut water) check the sugar content on coconut water, (not all brands are the same) for 10seconds speed 5 then increase sp to 9 and blend for another minute.

I love these mason jars and have found some priced at £3.50 which I think is a bargain.

If you ever have questions about the Thermomix I'd be happy to answer. I am not a rep just a very keen cook and love to adapt my recipes to TM cooking.

Welcome to my blog! After a L O N G break from blogging during which Instagram (vannilla)took over my life, I am returning in a more varied format. Yes, I will bake and have been a Thermomix users from the days before it was cult-like. I'll share the best but I will also include that other hobby in my life, photography from my small island and beyond. If you like what you see, I'd love to hear from you! Anne
